Kipling Collegiate Institute

Kipling Collegiate is a High School in Toronto Ontario, Canada. The school opened in 1961 and was designed by "Gordon S. Adamson & Associates" with the design earning the "Silver Massey Medal" in 1961. The school has since been expanded three times, first with an addition to the classroom wing and an auditorium in 1963, a further addition to the classroom wing in 1968, and a finally a second "single" gymnasium in 1975. The school also featured a large courtyard between the entrance wing and the classroom wing. This courtyard was filled in as part of the 1968 expansion and is now the site of the Library.
The facility itself features 27 Standard Classrooms, 5 Science Labs, 3 Art Rooms, 1 Double Gymnasium, 1 Single Gymnasium, Auditorium, Cafeteria, and Library
