Description:
Welcome to Apoparadise

Ever wanted to settle down on a tropical island with huge beaches and lot of small and big islands? So Apoparadise might be the right place for you. A place full of pleasure and white sanded beaches and water spitting volcanos…yeah right… water spitting ;). There are several rivers, lakes and waterfalls all over the place.

Glitches and misplaced trees mentionied in the What Map video from BonBonB where fixed.

Lore of Apoparadise

Long time ago this lands looked way different. Until the day a big underground volcano erupted and changed anything. Over time, large mountains and many islands have emerged from the ejected lava.

While the lava slowly cooled, caves and lava tubes formed in which water accumulated.
The residual heat of the volcano brought the water back to the surface through the lava tubes which created springs rivers and lakes all over the place.

Plants grew back slowly, attracting animals to settle down.
The enormous number of animals attracted a lot of hunters. They built the first settlements in this area.
Ages later, they grew into a high culture. Building castles and big monuments, spreading all over the area.

Unfortunately, the volcano erupted again. big rocks and stones rained all over the area destroying almost all of the local natives culture and causing massive rockfalls. Places that were once on land are now underwater and vice versa. Anything changed.

Again ages later the first settlers arrived in this area. They really loved this place that they called it "A piece of Peace" which is the reason why they started calling it Apoparadise. Due the rockfalls in the past, many valueable resources were uncovered. Those attracted a lot of new settlers to travel to this area.

Streets and rails were built. The different islands opened up and the marine cargo traffic was introduced on a large scale as the industry grew faster and faster. This overestimation resulted in severe traffic accidents to land and water. Many lighthouses were built and streets were extended to handle the problem.

Since they have not gotten hold of the situation, the settlers gradually left their inhospitable environment. They left their homes and vehicles behind and left this place forever.

If you pay close attention, you may discover some signs of those bygone times.

My native language is not english. So please feel free to report spelling mistakes.

It was not my goal to get a realistic looking map. I wanted a map with some interesting topography which is also a bit challenging.
