San Andreas Bay
San Andreas Bay – A long lost bay somewhere along the Central California Coast between San Francisco and Los Angeles, the only development in the region is a small farming community.
The map features rolling hills, steep cliffs, and tall mountain ranges, which have all been aligned parallel to each other by the shearing motion of the San Andreas Fault, which runs through the region and gives its name to the bay found along the shore. There is also plenty of flat building terrain as well as miles of coastline with picturesque beaches.
This map is probably best for intermediate players with some experience, due to the challenging topography. However, all types of transportation are available (sea, air, road, rail) and the river fork which runs through the steep mountains is dammable.
I would highly recommend getting the 81 tiles mod, as there is lots of room to build on, including the offshore islands. Also please make sure to subscribe to all the required items–but most of you will probably have most, if not all of the trees already in your subscriptions.
