About the train
Siemens C651 is the second-generation rolling stock of the Singapore Mass Rapid Transit system. It was introduced in 1994, as to supplement the North South and East West lines (NSEWL) for the Woodlands extension.
Unlike the Kawasaki C151 which was also 30 years old, the C651 is not refurbished (yet).
This train feature the oldest of all SMRT liveries, the ‘white’ version. It is one of the four that you can find on the NSEWL. You can find trains featuring the 3 other liveries in my public transport collection.
