Description:

Hello Community,

I finally present you my idea (asset) which was buzzing around in my head for a long time.
Nobody, at least I think*, created something like this. *correct me if i`m wrong… ;)*

With a litle bit of pride, I present you the workshops first visiually appealing* pedestrian
underpass, which also works. 😉 *compared to the vanilla version*
But please be patient with me, if it is not perfect. This is my first ever 3d creation.
I haven`t had anything to do with blender or other graphical programs before. It took me quite
some time to get arround with these programs. I watched countless of tutorials and read pages
and pages and pages … and so on 😉 .
But in the end it worked. I am satisfied with the result. 🙂

Some facts about the object and the dependencies.

The model has 1261 tris and a diffuse and normal map. I also did a custom lod model
which has 216 tris. Sorry, but i couldn`t get it "smaller". But compared to other assets with
the same size, I think its ok. The textures have a size of 2048 x 2048 on the main model
and 256 x 256 on the lod model. This texture size is also the reason for the "huge" file size
of ca. 6 MB. But I wanted some details on the texture and I couldn`t do that with a smaller
texture size. Sry. But as I said before, I am no pro, it is just my first asset.

Main: 1261 tris; 2048 x 2048 diffuse, normal map
Lod model: 216 tris; 256 x 256 diffuse map
Footprint size: 10 x 9 Tiles

I used the wind turbine template, so that you can place the object everywhere.
It needs no road connection. You can use it in a total vanilla game, except for the
need of the "invisible ped path" created by Czardus. The mod I added as a dependency
is needed, when you are planning to use the model as it is intended to.
Without it, you can`t place any roads or railtracks through or above it.

I also highly recomment the use of the mod "Move it" created by SamsamTS to, yes ….
move it arround. 🙂
If you are using the "Find it" mod (also by SamsamTS), you can find it by searching for
underpass or pedestrian. Otherwise you will find the object under the electricity tab.

So, if you like it please give it a thumbs up. 🙂
For further questions use the comment function below the asset.

Thank you …

Changelog:

I increased the gap between the invisible ped paths and changed the asset into "flatten full area".

The old version of the asset worked at my testings. It did that on my main – steam account and on
my second "testing" steam account. (Which btw. have differnt mods installed)
The only explanation I had in mind was, that maybe the pink ped paths, which you can add via the More
Beautification Mod, are somehow moved during the placing or moving of the asset.
I hope that it is fixed now and will work as intended. (if not, then there is always the possibility of a mod –
conflict)
