Train: DB BR 110.1 OR 5nK Mint
The BR 110 was a part of the "Einheitslokomotiven" (standardized engines) family dating back to the early years of the Deutsche Bundesbahn, more specifically the period around 1960. With a top speed of 150 km/h (90 mph) it formed the upper end of the spectrum and was intended for fast long-distance passenger services. However, progress kept getting made swiftly and fast trains became really fast rather soon, so the class 110 spent most of its years in use for fast regional services.
It is depicted here in the 1980’s orient red livery, and pulling a train consisting of five mint-painted n-Wagen coaches.
This train is too long long for the vanilla train stations.
