Storm Isles (Fully Functional Waves)
Welcome to the Storm Isles, situated in the North Cimlantic Ocean, It is continously battered by strong gales and immense waves. This is perhaps the most challenging map there is, you will have to contend with very little buildable land, 20m high waves and no road connection to name a few! But it is all worth it for stunning veiws and fantastic surfing beaches, which will attract stone… ah I mean tourists in their dorves.
The waves that hit the island are over 20m high (I measured It), this can lead to hillarious results such as your city becoming temporarilly swamped. They are created by a michaelpooper patent wave machine that can garuntee waves for at least a milenia!! I personally think this feature of the map shows just how awesome the water simulator is in CitiesSkylines
So yeah about the road connection, there is none, looks like your going to have to make do with ports/airports like a real island. There are two places specifically terrained for ports and one for an airport. Unfortuently you will have to do an unlock all for this but I can assure this is the only necessary cheat.
