Melbourne, Australia – 25 Tiles Complete on an 81 Tiled Map. By Asmon72.
This 300+ hours Melbourne (Australia) map has all roads above and below ground, over 20 tram routes and all train routes going from either Southern Cross or Flinders Street Station, on a 5×5 (25 Tile Map) on a 81 Tiled Map. Is the map perfect, unfortunately NO, with the game limitations and capping of buildable zone, I would say it’s in the 90 percentile. Many things like transport nodes and roads with buildable zone I kept hitting cap, and had to go back to 25 tiles. I was building it to 81 squares as can be seen by all the major roads left in, these I removed the zones next to. The game can be played on a 25 tile map, however if this is done canals that were used as rivers do not show up, it’s best to play as 81 tiles as it allows for addition expansion later. I have kept the mods/assets to a minimum; however some will be required, whilst others are optional these are:
You will need to have Unlimited Money turned ON!!! Also note all buildings are currently set to OFF.
Needed – These Mods are a must have, especially Network Extensions 2 and all the Tram and Train stations/roads as my entire transport network for the map uses them as stops.
