Motu One
Are you as tired as me of the never ending winter, but the next tropical atoll is way to far?
Then build your own virtual Polynesian paradise!
Motu One, Sand Island in Tahitian, is a tiny coral atoll of the Society Islands in French Polynesia in the southern Pacific Ocean. It is part of the Leeward Islands, approximately 550km northwest from Tahiti.
It is also known as Atoll Bellinghausen in honour of von Bellinghausen, a Baltic German officer in the Imperial Russian Navy, see wikipedia[https//https].
The atoll is densely covered by coconut palms and other plants, its waters are rife with corals and sea grass, and the white beaches are full of sea shells.
There are NO roads or railroads, only one ship and flight path (it’s pretty remote after all). For those of us prefering to play with milestones, I added a cargo and passenger dock in the starting tile. The scale should be almost 1:1.
I recommend using Strictoaster’s great Seenu Theme + LUT.
I’ve used 3500 props, 3500 buildings and 110000 trees, which might affect performance on slower computers when zoomed in.
Screenshots were taken with Eyecandy, Relight and Tree LOD Fix.
Enjoy building your South Sea paradise! 🙂
