Description:

A winter map based on the area around the northern half of Iceland’s Snæfellsnes peninsula, with many artistic liberties. Starting area is the centre tile, which is the site of the real life village of Grundarfjörður.

Coastal areas are relatively flat but completely devoid of resources. Ore and oil deposits are available, but are difficult to access. There are no fertile areas, forestry areas… or any trees of any description. As there are no streams, hydro power is not possible.

Road, sea, and air connections are available. Rail is present outside of the playable area due to the lack of tunnels in the map editor.

I made this map for myself to play on, but I thought I’d share in case there are other people out there who’ve just bought Snowfall and want something more Scandinavian to build upon. I just don’t know what to do with all the flat space in the Paradox maps!

For obvious reasons, the Snowfall DLC is required.
