When I was in Chicago in 2010, I was in Federal Plaza near this building, taking photos of the famous Flamingo sculpture, when I was accosted by someone who was either a guard, cop, or agent (Homeland Security, etc., I never took note). They suggested I’d be taken in by the "people in those buildings" for questioning and have my camera taken away for taking photos of the federal buildings, and said I had to leave. I was escorted off the premises, despite the fact that photography of or around Federal Buildings from/on public property is perfectly legal. I guess some people think that’s a terrorism risk…

The Everett McKinley Dirksen United States Courthouse was designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and completed in 1964. It’s 384 feet high and has 30 floors. The tower has an open lobby with elevator banks visible in-game.
