Checkpoint Sign
Here is the wooden sign that can be found at Checkpoint Charlie, in Berlin, Germany. It’s famous warning "YOU ARE LEAVING THE AMERICAN SECTOR" was the last thing that adventurous souls would see as they left the West and entered the East. On the other side, the few DDR citizens that were granted travel visas were warned not to carry weapons and obey traffic rules, in English, Russian, French, and German.
