Dijon Shop 1 [France]
Traditional half-timbered house with a restaurant on the ground floor from Dijon, France. Level 2 1×2 low-density commercial.
This asset looks familiar? That’s because it is my second take on recreating that house in the game. Original one here: Medieval House 1 (Commercial version – Residential version). In nearly 2 years I’ve grown to find those assets literally unplayable so I gave up on updating them and simply started over from scratch.
Most importantly:
- better scaling
- no more questionable (I mean disgustingly obnoxious) colour variations
- handmade LOD textures
- 1m recess of the façade from the front lot limit + detailed backside
Other than that, the 3D model is now much more detailed but with a similar amount of tris, the photographic timber texture has been reworked and the rest of the texture is new.
