London Aquatic Centre by Zaha Hadid
The London Aquatics Centre was originally designed by world-renowned, award winning architect Zaha Hadid in 2004. The concept of the centre was inspired by moving water, creating a space to mirror the surrounding riverside landscapes of the London 2012 Olympic Park.
I have recreated the amazing design and used transparency to reveal the incredible pool interior. As such, the tri-count is higher than it could have been, but you’re not going to plop more than one of these are you?
Model: 5340 tris
LOD: 98 tris
In-game footprint: 28 x 16 units The game only allows 8×16 so you may find citizens walking through the top and bottom ends of the grounds.

This asset has textures and LODs with normals, specular and illumination maps.
The asset can be found in the ‘Monument Level 1’ tab.
This is the first of a series of architectural ‘Design Classics’ I hope to create. If you have any suggestions for great buildings to add to the build list please leave a comment below. I can’t promise that your suggestion will make the final list but I will consider it.
If you really, really like my assets please consider making a donation. I’m unable to work because of ill health and do this because I love the positive feedback I get from so many people.
