Description:
If you want to use this asset it may be COMPLEX! Please read the description!

This is a very large asset, both in game and file size. it is 100% necessary so please don’t ask "why is it 128mb??" it just is, there is a lot of data that went into the meshes, textures, networks.

Ok so some people (reddit i’m looking at you) can’t seem to fathom the file size. Guys, there’s literally 33 separate assets that make this bridge up. So that’s 128mb divided by 33. Which is less than 4mb each. So yes it’s a lot to download, because it’s a lot of assets… all bundled.. into one.

Please keep reading below for very important information!

This particular asset was started over a year ago – and I’ve put many many hours into it as it’s slowly taken shape. I love making this stuff but my god it’s time consuming! 😂😂😂

MoveIt!

The author of moveit had updated so the game won’t crash when you use the mod on this asset. However they do warn that because it’s such a large asset it does lag if you use it. So discretion is still advised.

Placement

Watch this gifset to see what you should expect when you place the asset.

Connecting the networks

And watch this gifset to see the nuances of connecting the networks. It’s pretty straight forward.

Beyond that, I know that it works in a 100% vanilla game, perfectly as desired with no conflicts, and no mods required for placement.

If you notice the vehicles dipping into or slightly floating about the road (it’s barely noticeable) please bare in mind it is as close to as i can get it and totally necessary.

MOM compatible?

For the moment we have to hold off on MOM compatibility, I really wanted to get it together for release but there was a mountain in the way.

If you have any problems see below:

Troubleshooting

Follow These steps if you believe this asset is causing you a problem:

1: Close Cities Skylines (quit to desktop)

2: Use launch parameters to set "–disableMods" > See here for a guide on setting launch parameters

3: Launch the game

4: Start a new game 100% vanilla

5: test thoroughly the asset to see if it presents the same problem (yes you may have to play and build a quick test city to do so)

6: If the problem still persists, please upload the same vanilla save file you tested in making sure you have not used any other custom assets (so they don’t disappear when I load it) and paste a link to the savegame in the discussion thread "Troubleshooting Savegames"
