Stjärnhusen Apartments
Stjärnhusen ("The Star Houses") are 14 star-shaped buildings in Västra Frölunda, Gothenburg. Designed by Lars Ågren and built by AB Göteborgsbostäder in 1964-65 – before the start of the ambitious Swedish Million Programme – the 8-story buildings consist of 40 households, 5 per floor, around a central stairwell.
A few years later, another 9 houses of the same type were built on Teleskopgatan in Bergsjön, Gothenburg.
