Weißenburg – Old gymnasium
Built at the former area of a pond (part of the city moat before the city was extended in 1376) this gym was erected in 1877/78. At this time it was one of the first gym buildings in central Franconia. The building is constructed in late classicist style. It was last renovated in 1996/97. [Source: Sign on the building]
