For the first mass rapid transit route in Taichung, Taiwan, the electric multiple units for light rail rapid transit have been jointly made by Kawasaki Heavy Industries and Taiwan Rolling Stock Company ( TRSC ). All vehicles are stored at Beitun metro depot and used on TCRT Green Line. Although found that China-made components contain processing defects, it will provide services in 2021.
