American Hotel
Enjoy your stay in this luxury hotel that is an Amsterdam landmark. It will look best placed next to a public square or park.
The American Hotel first opened in 1881 at the Leidseplein in Amsterdam, but the building quickly proved too small and was replaced in 1902 by a design of architects Willem Kromhout and H.G. Jansen. Featuring a bell tower, mosaics, and many different balconies, it is a great example of Dutch Art Nouveau (or Jugendstil) architecture. It was protected as a national monument in the 1970’s.
Use the RICO mod if you want to place this building more than once. Here it is on Google maps[www.google.com]. And here is a video[streamable.com] of me making the texture.
