Signed by the London office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, Inc. (SOM), including the One World Trade Center in New York City and the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the building was designed to integrate seamlessly into the surrounding landscape.
SOM architects and engineers used a bridge construction technique to create a cantilever that allows the building to touch the ground only on two supports.
