V/Line G Class – Ore train (10 trailers)
The G class consists of around 31 diesel locomotives built for V/Line in the mid-to-late 80s. In the mid-90s the freight division of V/Line was sold off entirely and all the G class locomotives have been repainted in the liveries of private companies. This recreation presents the locomotive in its original V/Line livery.
The locomotive pulls a train of ore hoppers, which have been based on the VHEF/VHEY hopper cars (also V/Line). These use the Trailer Variation Loader mod to show as full or empty based on the load of the train. It also auto-reverses the locomotive in the direction of travel.
Not entirely clear why this one is bigger than the other one. Don’t ask! 🙂
