Series II-18/9 [RICO]
Series II-18/9 is an "optimized" version of series II-18/8 , developed in 1961 with lead of famous soviet architect Nathan Osterman. Unlike its predecessor, II-18/9 became a mainstream and now it can be found almost in every district of Moscow and other cities of the former USSR. Although, this series has 9 floors, it has the same height as II-18/8, which has 8 floors. This is because ceilings in II-18/9 are lower. Such an economy was a reason of mass distribution of this very series.
