Welcome to Grimsøy! Welcome to the north!

An exploration team has recently found a huge oil reservoir off the coast. More people will move to this abandoned region and it has been decided to found a new settlement on the island of Grimsøy.

Thanks to Mother Nature for this awesome height map. The real life location is the island of Gimsøy in the beautiful Lofoten archipelago. However all highways, railways, rivers or the vegetation etc. are different on the real island

I recommend to use the Väterchen Frost Theme and the Realistic LUT V1.2

Currently, it is spring, the trees are flowering and I’m releasing a winter map. Probably not the best timing, but I hope that many of you will enjoy it anyways. This is my second map in the steam workshop and I was very motivated by the feedback I received on my first map.
