利通广场由美国当今最具影响力的建筑师之Helmut Jahn （赫尔穆特·扬）先生亲自担纲设计，十多家享誉全球的专业设计机构合作设计完成。建筑风格简洁、通透、线条清晰、气质高贵，37.8米高的大堂气势雄伟，精致的几何造型的建筑主体、个性鲜明的斜坡屋面、极具光影表现力的鳞片状玻璃幕墙营造出艺术雕塑的效果，犹如一块晶莹剔透的冰晶体矗立于新城市中轴线的门户。
利通广场位于珠江新城CBD核心区的北入口，具有强烈标识性。比邻黄埔大道、内环路以及珠江新城捷运系统的市民广场站（2010年建成），拥有便捷的港湾式停车站，无论外部或内部交通网络均十分流畅。同时，项目连接世界面积最大的地下商业服务设施－珠江新城地下SHOPINGMALL，拥有高端商业配套设施（包括顶级电影院以及各种餐饮娱乐设施），配套服务完善。

On January 12, 2011, the Green Building Council of the United States awarded the LEED gold level pre certification for Ritong Plaza. The project is the first green environmental protection building to obtain LEED gold pre certification in Guangzhou.
Riton Plaza is designed by Helmut Jahn, one of the most influential architects in the United States today. It is designed by more than ten world-renowned professional design institutions. The architectural style is simple, transparent, with clear lines and noble temperament. The 37.8-meter-high lobby is magnificent. The exquisite geometric modeling of the main building, the distinctive sloping roof and the scale glass curtain wall with strong light and shadow expression create the effect of art sculpture, just like a crystal clear ice crystal standing at the gateway of the new city axis.
Litong Plaza is located in the north entrance of the CBD core area of Zhujiang New City, which has a strong identity. Next to Huangpu Avenue, inner ring road and Zhujiang New Town MRT system, the citizen square station (completed in 2010) has convenient bay type parking station, and the external and internal traffic network is very smooth.
