Plattenbau WBS70 PH 12 G
Hello Folks,
about 4 months have passed since I released my first asset WBS70 Plattenbau Hochhaus .
Over the span of these 4 months I learned a lot about asset creating and modeling. The way I model and texture my assets changed a lot.
After roughly 2 weeks I updated the building for a second time, adding RICO, illumination and color mapping. By the time I didn’t really care about tris or file size, so the color and illumination mapping came at a high cost.
So over the two months I did my best to save on file and tris size, while also being able the make the assets more realistic texture and model wise. Even the dimensions have slightly changed with this asset. Its pretty much on par with the original.
Today I can proudly present you my third version of the same building, completely remodeled and textured. With my current techniques I managed to create a more realistic, yet less bulky asset.
I hope you can appreciate the progress I made in the last 4 months just as much as I do. So thanks for sticking around and supporting me! Let’s see if there will be another 3 versions of the same building 😀
Planned and built in Frankfurt(Oder), this 12 floor high building has 55 homes on a footprint of just 18m x 18m. Based on the WBS70 prefab-standard, these blocks are mostly found in the cities of Berlin and Frankfurt(Oder).
Now for the model:
This asset consists of 2 towers with 4×4 lot size, color mapped balconies and are RICO enabled. each one has 55 homes.
Both blocks share the same base texture file, so users of the Loading Screen Mod can save on RAM here.
