Grosvenor Place
Award winning office tower on George Street designed by Harry Seidler & Associates, completed in 1988. This includes the tower as a standalone ploppable – the surrounding plaza and dining area is not incorporated.
It is a Unique Building, 9×7. Employs 195 cims of varying education. It is approximately 180m and 44 storeys tall.
In case you’re curious, the name is pronounced with the ‘s’ silent – ‘grove-nor’.
Positioned with an eastern-western aspect with unobstructed views of Circular Quay, the tower features angled sunshades designed to optimally shield each of the large windows as the sun tracks across the sky.
Features the large solar panels in the roof cavity, but does not feature the additional array of solar panels on the core roof. I intend to use workshop props but try to avoid workshop dependencies so left them out. Deutsche Bank Place is listed as required – the building includes the revolving door prop which I published with that building, which is just a rotating prop for the doors – the actual ‘chamber’ is built into the model. It is otherwise optional.
