Macy’s Department Store NYC
Merry early Christmas or a late thanksgiving !!!!
I always wanted to do the Macy’s department store, as I’m a big fan of their thanksgiving parade. This is one of my favourite shopping centres, as it has such a long history all the way to the 1930s. I love the facade a lot, and I think it’s a gorgeous building in NYC. There arent any traditional shopping centres in the workshop, so I hope that would help everyone, especially before Christmas. The asset took longer than I expected so that’s why its a little later than thanksgiving. This is the longest time I spent on an asset cuz there are so many different textures. The asset is only around 4000 tris, however, so everyone should be able to enjoy it.
There are special Christmas shop windows on the bottom flow, so be sure to check them out !!!
(The building was altered as it was too big, so I decided to redesign some of it myself. The building would have some minor changes to it, but nothing major was changed about the original building)
I hope everyone would have a great Christmas, cuz I know this year has been tough for all of us, and I hope that everyone gets to see their family members either online or in person.

I also decorated the building a little, so if you want to make it look more like Christmas feeling, you have to add the decorations yourself.
I would release a 1960s version in the future, mainly to replace the billboard, as it makes it look pretty modern, and I know a lot of ppl wanna build a city of 60s or 70s.
