門司電気通信レトロ館 / JP Moji Retro museum
This is the Moji Telecommunications Retro Museum in Kitakyushu City,
It was built in 1924 as a building for the telephone section of the
Moji Post Office of the Ministry of Communications.
NTT West cooperated with Kitakyushu City’s Mojiko Retro Project to
preserve the building, which was scheduled for demolition, and
open it to the public free of charge as a museum to exhibit the
changes in telephones and switching equipment.
The "Retro-style Telephone Box" installed in front of the main
Building is a reprint of the first public telephone box in Japan,
which was built in October 1900 in Kyobashi, Tokyo.

福岡県北九州市の門司電気通信レトロ館です。
逓信省門司郵便局電話課庁舎として、1924年（大正13年）に建設されました。
NTT西日本が北九州市の門司港レトロ事業に協力、解体予定だった建物を保存し、
電話機や交換機などを展示する博物館として公開されています。
また、建物前に設置された「レトロ調電話BOX」は1900年（明治33年）10月に
東京･京橋に設置された日本最初の公衆電話ボックスの復刻版です。
