Asset is inspired by Addeo & Sons Bakery. The Addeo family heritage of being a premier maker of traditional italian bread and biscuits began three generations and over 80 years ago with founders Gennaro and Vincenza opening a bread shop in the Little Italy area of the Bronx.
This bakery will be the first of an entire Little Italy collection I plan to publish in the coming months where I take independent Italian American businesses with interesting buildings and/or signage that have endured for decades in places like NYC, Philly, Detroit, St Louis, SF, etc.. Expect to see Salumerias, Pasta shops, Cannoli stores, and much more.
