Kit Homes – Sears – The Belmont
In the Belmont bungalow we have one of those practical designs so much in favor along the Pacific Coast. Built in the proper surroundings and given the proper color treatment, a bungalow of this kind will be an ornament to any community and a constant source of pleasure to the owner. A good color scheme is golden brown for the body of the house, which is sided with shingles, with white trim and green for the roof.
This one was not offered pre-cut and pre-fitted, meaning the builder would actually need a saw (and perhaps some additional skill) to build one of these.
Fun Fact: There is a Sears Belmont in Ketchikan, AK. It is currently the only known Sears home to be identified as being built in the "Territory of Alaska", as Alaska was not yet a state.
