This building is a historical reconstitution of the old Landtag (regional parliament of Elsaß-Lothringen). Build enter 1888-1892 its primary function is that of regional delegation (Landesausschuss). He become Landtag in 1911. In 1918 Alsace is taken over by France, the parliament is remove, the building becomes the city’s music conservatory. during the WW2 the back is damaged (this is the reconstituted part), after a new building is build. Today this building is the National Theater of Strasbourg (TNS).
