tram pack Nordhausen
Hello Folks,
for today I have a whole assortment of trams from the city of Nordhausen.
This small town in the Harz-region of Germany never got delivered new Gotha-trams, all except one of their rolling stock was inherited from other east-german cities, which leads to some differences between the vehicles.
To represent this variety in the rolling stock, I choose to put them all together in one package.
This assortment consist of 5 Trams, three of the type T57 and two G4 articulated trams.
One of the T57, number 03 is a "Arbeitswagen" (service vehicle) which serves no function in-game other than to look good.
All units are original "Gothawagen", so trams built in the city Gotha, East-Germany.
One extra detail I created here is an original advertisement on the side of the T57-45 and T57-48 trams, which advertises the local liquor factory "Nordbrand" (which still exists today!).
To get the advertisement(-submesh) to show up you just have to rename the respective tram.
All vehicles max speed is just like the original, 40km/h (8 in-game).
The destination indicator which reads "1 Oberstadt" has line-colored letters.
Indicator, head- and taillights are working.
T57-45 and T57-48 share one texture, aswell as G4-56 and G4-63, so using the Loading Screen Mod to cut down on file size is advised.
If you want prop versions of the vehicles I advise you to use the Tree and Vehicle Props Mod and its Patch.
I don’t want to waste too much time on creating prop versions of each vehicle, so using this mod is the better option for now.
