New Century Apartments
This is a fancy looking Beaux-Arts residential building located at 401 West End Avenue, New York City, NY. Completed in 1900 it had many decorative elements such as rounded corners, ornate balconies and bands, a massive entrance portico with columns and rusticated bricks.
Unfortunately, many of these decorations were lost at some point, but I found an old photo[collections.mcny.org] and tried to recreate them.
However I took some liberties here and simplified them a little, trying to keep a balance between aestetics and the number of triangles.
This time I choose a relatively small texture size and it was quite tricky to squeeze everything I want, but I think the final result is quite acceptable.
