Logan Ohio
Hello and welcome to my real world map with vanilla assets. The is map two of my Towns of the Hocking series which are real world maps made in vanilla for everyone to use. Logan is my home town and I have spent most of my 30 something years living here. Logan is the gateway or tourist town of this region of Ohio. With the famous Hocking Hills State Parks which recieves over 4 million visitors anually. Logan was the first city in the state of Ohio to build a double roundabout at the intersections of U.S. Rte. 33 and St. Rte. 664.
Logan also has its share of famous and notable residents, of which include; Curtis Scaparrotti, Supreme Allied Commander Europe, United Nations Command, ROK/US Combined Forces Command and commander of the United States European Command and Katie Smith, WNBA player and Olympic gold medalist.
Map Details:
I tried my best to get the roads and freeways as accurate as I could with vanilla roads and no mods. Some areas might be a bit wonky due to game mechanics and me trying my best to keep mods out of the maps requirements. I have tested the map with a city up to 16,000 people and it performed as well as you could expect, considering the real life city only has 6,800 residents itself. I have provided ample water and power with 4 pumps and drains and 18 wind generators that all feed into the starting square.
The river has multiple water spawners spread throughout and therefor should be flood free. I do not recommend placing pumps along the river as you may drain it dry and get some odd water flow. Which is why I provided four pumps for free. If you need more than the four pumps or drains. I recommend placing them next to where the currents pumps and drains are. There are 189,000 trees of the new vanilla type. You have road, rail and air connections as well.
