kralingenburgh 1569 house pack
As seen in my youtube serie: Kralingenburgh
The houses are roughlty inspired on those in the Hollenderbyen (The Dutch Quarter) in Flekkefjord, Norway.
The buildings are a mix between Dutch and Norwegian. "Hollenderbyen" got its name because Flekkefjord had active trade with Holland (Netherlands) in 1500 – and 1600’s and several dutch people moved to Flekkefjord back then.
Among the main commodities they traded with were lumber and fish products. The Dutch Quarter as it is today was built as a result of herring fishing in the 1800’s where large catches led many fishermen to wealth and they built houses from the profits.
Interesting detail is that the frames are marked with numbers, in case the house should be transported to a different region.
I made these houses to match the San Francisco houses by Cbudd. Together they form the core of my town. The town is fictional and so are the houses. some of them are half brick just because I liked the look.
