Buxton in Derbyshire UK
Home of the famous Buxton mineral water. The town sits amongst the rolling hills of the Derbyshire dales, and borders onto the Peak District National park. The Romans revered the water, and the Victorians too, using it as a tourist attraction, which it still is to this day.
PROS:
* Fast moving water
* Heavy Ore deposits
* Nearly all land is fertile
* Heavy Forestation
* Will make beautiful cities place on hills and slopes
CONS:
* Very hilly – Buxton is on the Pennines
* You can extend the railway but in real life as on this map the railway terminates in Buxton
* Building large intersections here is going to be challenging to say the least
* Instead of heavily populated cities would suite individual settements spread across the map
* The waterways in this map are not accurate, but will provide you with all you need.
