Pan-Pacific Auditorium
Pan-Pacific Auditorium by RoomMic
The Pan Pacific Auditorium was a convention center built in 1935 in Los Angeles, California. It operated as the city’s main convention center for the next 40 years, until it was replaced by the LA Convention Center in 1972. Despite efforts to save the building, it burned down in 1989 after years of abandonment.
The design of the facade was renowned for its four towers, designed in the Art Deco-derivative Streamline Moderne style, which emphasized sweeping lines. It was said they resembled upswept aircraft fins. They became one of the most famous examples of the style, shown in many Hollywood movies. The designers were Wurdeman & Becket.
Functions as a convention center unique building ingame, level 5. The flagpoles can be changed to the flags of your choice with the BOB mod.
