Victoria Park/Stampede Station (Tram Station)
Victoria Park/Stampede Station is an LRT Station located in Calgary Alberta, Canada. The station opened on May 25, 1981 as part of the original C-Train line (now the Red Line), and was built to connect to the Calgary Stampede grounds and the Saddledome. . The real world station features 3 platforms, with a small side platform by the entrance, however this platform is almost never used. This model is based off of the now demolished version of the station as the City of Calgary opted to replace the station with a newer more accessible one with a better connection to the surrounding area. The old station was torn down in 2021 with the new one expected to be open in 2023.
This station has high-level platforms and is thus best suited for high-floor trams.
