Description:

This is a map from BeamNG.drive. The goal was to recreate everything as closely as possible without deviating from the original map unless necessary.

The towns are preplaced, you can demolish them yourself if you want to start from scratch. I’ve decided not to draw the fields with props, instead I’ve just added fertile land on the spots where the fields are, so you can build them yourself. I’ve marked the fields’ bounds with fences though, so you’ll know where they should be.

Some things are simplified or removed to work better in Cities: Skylines such as the dam (gone because it doesn’t work in C:S) and port (wavebreaker removed to allow ship entry); I’ve added the mainland with railway connections and a bridge to it; also the fort is not a fort because I didn’t want to add a lot of extra stuff to dependencies. I’ve kept detailing to a bare minimum because recreating everything 1:1 would take too much effort, and I’m not that good at detailing anyway. Sorry.

The required items are in the collection to subscribe with one click, I’ve tried to keep the number of dependencies low but the roads in the base game just don’t fit the map, so there are a lot of extras I needed to use. Consider using Loading Screen Mod to save up on RAM.

I couldn’t find a way to fix the holes in the ground without some arcane trickery so I just left them as they were. After loading the map, I recommend going through all preplaced narrow roads in Norte, Fastello, Castelletto and Citta Vecchia and fixing all zoning with Zoning Adjuster, otherwise the buildings will be too far from the road on those.

Some roads I’ve used require Mass Transit DLC. The fences I’ve placed on the fields require Industries DLC but that’s a prop so you can load the game without that one.

Credits to BeamNG dev team for the original map, thanks to them the resources i’ve used during making this map, and for allowing me to publish this.
