Importante note: this is not a mod by itself, i only use theme mixer in order to blend textures from other mods and create the atmosphere i wanted.

Why this mix?

After facing a quite dry and hot weather this summer, i was hit by how green the grass looks in Cities Skylines, while it turns kind of strawish in real life. Thus i wanted to get that strawish feeling in the game too, without being as burned as in the Western Coast map theme. I also tried to blend textures that have very similar colours, so that the changes from grass to ore and fertile would look as natural as possible.

I also wanted to have the cliffs not too dominant, like in the famous NotSoRocky Hills. That is why this one and Western Coast are the ones of which i took the most textures. You will see by the screenshot that NotSoRocky Hills and Laviante look very good as well on this map, the choice depends on weather you want a spring or summer atmosphere…

This mix was at first made for my Saint Etienne map (there: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2844781162)
Nevertheless, feel free to use it for any project where you feel it fits!

For the screenshots, i used three mods with the following settings:
LUT : Laviante
Daylight Classic : tick Classic sunlight color, classic sunlignt intensity and Classic fog effects. Leave all other boxes blank.
Relight : Brightness : 0,75 | Gamma : 0,4 | Contrast : 1 | Sun Temperature : 0,1 as advised by Reaper. Everything else zero.

If you find better results with some other settings, don’t hesitate to let me know. 😉
Enjoy!
