NL Gantry iRSU Pack (5 and 6 Lane)
A highway gantry pack modeled with the Dutch Gantry Standard 2011 technical drawings.
iRSU stands for Intelligent Roadside Unit which runs the Electronic Lane Signalling. It is installed in the field cabinet located in between the gantry leg.
- 3 Gantries in total; 5 parallel and 6 lane + parallel
- 1:1 Scale
- Custom LOD’s
- Shared textures; use Loading Screen Mod (Fix) or equivelent
- Infinitely thin triangle added to counter prop culling
- No snapshot nor tooltip to reduce up to 20% in file size
The 2 lane parallel and 5 lane are identical, to avoid duplicates I did not add the 5 lane in this pack.
The 5 and 6 lane highway on the screenshots are of the Network Extensions 2 road mod. They are narrower then the vanilla highway, so the 5 lane gantries are sufficient for them.
The gantries are already at the correct height compared to the road. Use a Prop Snapping mod to snap the gantries to a network. You can use the “Find It! 2” mod to search for them and “Move It” to adjust heading.
This is my first ever release of a 3D model and texture and although I have done extensive testing, something might have slipped passed. Constructive criticism is appreciated.
