Description
Lorry Buses are a type of transportation that has already become extinct in Hong Kong. Known as "Village Vehicles" in Chinese, these vehicles run between remote villages and town centers in the New Territories in Hong Kong. In the past, while the local agricultural industry was still active, lorry buses were used to transport passengers and their farm products to markets to sell. Because of the expansion of bus and minibus networks and the government not licensing anymore, the last lorry bus retired in November 2017.
