ALC42 Charger & Viewliner – ‘Silver Star’ (11Cars)
Amtrak Long-Range: New York – Miami
The Siemens Charger is a family of diesel-electric passenger locomotives designed and manufactured by Siemens Mobility for the North American market. There are four models of Chargers: the SC-44 for state-supported inter-city services, the SCB-40 for Brightline inter-city service, the SC-42 for VIA corridor service, and the ALC-42 for Amtrak long distance service.
– Long Range Consist: 11 Cars made after ‘Silver Star’ Route
– ALC42 Charger: DOUBLE CONFIG, featuring different repaints of new Charger locomotive. A total of 4 engines is assigned to this configuration: 2engines on forward, 2 engines when train is reversed.
– Modeled interior compartment, that is quite noticeable
– Interior lightning with Additive Shader (works between 18h00 to 07h00)
– VIEWLINER: Contains Viewliner coaches, commissioned to Nostrix.
– AMFLEET II: Contains Amfleet coaches, made by meshd.
– Can be assigned to train routes via IMT or transport line manager of your choice.
– This is a long train, thus should be used on loop configurations.
