Dutch House #17
In The Netherlands during the second world war, +-9000 farms were destroyed. In the following era of reconstruction(1945-1965), the farms were restored in a neo-traditional style called the Delftse School. This farm was inspired by a ‘Wederopbouwboerderij’ in the east of the Netherlands, at the Eekteweg in Haarle. The cattle and the house was situated under the same roof. The new farms had modern standards for light in the house & hygienic milk processing, and this one had room for 5 cows.
