History:
Barra do Piraí is a real city of the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro. It has a population of approximately 100,000 inhabitants. It’s a city focused on commerce and some iron industries. Its railroad connects the capitals of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Minas Gerais through the most important rail junction in Latin America. However, in the 18th century, coffee plantations dominated the region.
