Bahnhof Luzern | Central Station
It seems I have an intense urge to make train stations for cities I never end up finishing :). This one is for a Swiss city I’m working on. I combed through the workshop for a high quality, mid-size station which would fit in a Swiss city. I couldn’t find one that suited my needs.
This is an eight track fictional central station with a design copied from a 19th century French architectural journal that filled my need for my own personal project. The 3D model is well-detailed and completely original; due to a desire for high quality, the tris are 23,000 for the main building and 7,000 for the train hall.
This asset comes in pieces. The station asset consists of one main building, a side building, and a train hall. They can be arranged as in the screenshots with move it. Also included are 6 ornament props and 2 platform extension props.
The station takes up a 22×10 unit space. Flatten a 22×10 area before you place the station.
You can find the main building in the train tab.The platform extensions are in the park props tab. The train hall building and side building are in the landscaping rocks tab. Searching "Bahnhof Luzern" in “Find It!” mod will yield all the included assets, too.
The “Move It” mod is listed as required because it is used to place the side building and the train hall (if desired).
I also recommend you subscribe to Advanced Stop Selection mod, though it is not required. It will help make the station easier to use and enable you to choose platforms easier if your platforms’ train lines intersect (like they do in real life). The assets I recommend you subscribe to are in the collection above.
