Marin Bay: Remastered
Welcome to Marin Bay!
——This is a re-upload, friends pointed out that I used a Live Oak Tree from the workshop instead of the vanilla oak tree by the same author.—–
Important Info at the Bottom
This is a complete overhaul of the Campus DLC map, Marin Bay. I decided to remaster this one because it always intrigued me, and it seemed like it would be a fun map to work on. And it was true, it was quite fun remastering this map. The one thing that really bugged me about the old map was that there was very limited space on where to build as most of the tiles outside of the 9×9 area was very hilly and inaccessible. So, I remedied that!
I wanted this map to have options for players to be able to expand outside of the 25 tile area, but in keeping with some of the original ideas of mountains and some barriers on the outside to help break up city expansion, or create valley communities or small mountain towns.
As you may see, I added 3 other tributaries to the main river to also help break up the map and make it a bit more interesting, but I wanted them to be slow moving, and meandering, signalling the end of their course into the bay. These low valleys offer expansive city development and compliments the airport dlc.

Rant lol
The latest DLC I currently own is Campus and I do not plan on buying other DLC’s unless they are free. So I apologize that the fish map isn’t available, I always try to keep in mind to have diverse selection of fish, but it’s difficult to closely follow the criteria for fish habitats. This game has already gone on long enough and I am ready for a sequel… These new DLC’s are nice and all, but it’s time we move on to something bigger and better!

The overpasses have custom "supports" from the elevated metro pillars.
In the pictures taken, I built this map and uploaded it using the following mods:
Node Controller
Intersection Marking Tool
Without these mods, the nodes and markings will be set to their default (vanilla) look. YOU DO NOT need to be subscribed to these for the map to load or work on vanilla. These mods are purely cosmetic and do not alter gameplay in any way besides just looking much nicer!
I say again, you do NOT need to be subbed to ANYTHING.
In addition, no DLC’s are needed, not even the Campus DLC that this is based, as this is technically custom work.
Although I posted this map to be played completely vanilla, I highly recommend subbing my theme, or other great themes by other fellow authors, as the vanilla theme just looks quite drab and bleak and does these maps injustice.
