Bullocks Wilshire
This is a huge Art Deco department store located in Los Angeles, California. It was designed by John and Donald Parkinson and opened in 1929. The relief above the entrance was created by George Stanley, designer of the Oscar.
The department store specialized in luxury goods, it also had many other amenities and an extremely posh interior. It was quite a popular place among Hollywood celebrities. It started to decline in the 1970s and was closed after severe damage during riots in 1992. In 1994 it was acquired by Southwestern Law School. It is now part of the university campus.
This is my most complex and detailed model so far. I tried to recreate as much detail as possible, given the limitations of the game. Considering the footprint and the amount of decorations, I can say that this model is quite efficient. It will function as high density commercial if you have RICO or as a unique building level 3. You can also recolor it if you think it is too bright/too dark.
I always wanted to recreate this building because it looks absolutely fantastic, hope you like it too!
