Description:

UPDATED VERSION HERE–> https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3042408419

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to load into the map for the first time with Remove Extended Manager’s Library mod and Remove Tree Anarchy mod .
Follow Algernon’s instructions in the descriptions and switch to Algernon’s Tree Control, Line Tool, and Prop Control instead of Tree Anarchy and Prop Anarchy.

I will update this map once I can use Remove EML in the map editor.
_______________________________________________________

It’s my first map! I started making a map for myself to play on, but as I kept progressing with it I decided to publish it. This is not based on any real life location. All hand made. I had mods active (particularly Prop Anarchy, Tree Anarchy, and Extended Managers Library), and while I am well under the tree limit (about 101,000) and the prop limit, I you will need EML to play on this map.

The Road Home is made to be playable, with a large, relatively flat area to build your city. The fictional story is that historical floods have left a large, flat plain with rich, fertile ground, ready to be paved over. Designed around 25 tiles, but playable on 81, it features two separate rail lines, which I have not connected together. The rail line on the right side of the map could be strictly used for cargo, as all resources are accessible to that line. The start square features two separate roads into it, only one of which is directly accessible to one of the highways. I made few highway connections together because that is your job as a city builder.

Not actually required:

-Intersection Marking Tool
-Node Controller
-TM:PE

All highway connections and intersections have been set up with TM:PE, Intersection Marking Tool, and Node Controller. Having these three mods will ensure the intersections are clean and set up properly. There are two air routes, both follow the land between the main bodies of water, one to the right and one to the left. Ship routes pass through both main bodies of water.

**Updated 3/25/23 Replaced the Vanilla+ 4 lane highway with the new Mass Transit 4 lane (2+2) highway**

Settings I was using:
Theme – Realistic V1.4.5 European
LUT: Realistic V1.2
Theme Mixer – Atmosphere – Exposure set to 2.0
Render It – Default profile, sun intensity was set to 6.1
Relight
Daylight Classic
