New Flyer C40LF Bus LACMTA Rapid
The New Flyer C40LF is a North American compressed natural gas (CNG) 40 foot low floor bus. It’s part of New Flyer’s series of low floor buses and is the original styling of the series. The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) operated these buses in local and rapid services. Rapid buses take less stops and operate almost like a BRT. LACMTA’s C40LFs were mostly retired around 2020.
The bus has custom sound and lighting.
